Business Communications

This module is designed to equip students with comprehensive view of communication, its scope and importance in business, and the role of communication in establishing a favorable outside the firm environment, as well as an effective internal communication program.  In addition, this module is designed to demonstrate the vital connection between recent technological developments and modern business practices.  The module addresses the most essential changes in technology and how they impact the business world, while still covering timeless communication skills such as listening, presenting, and writing.  This module also develops an awareness of the importance of succinct written expression to modern business communication.  The module coverage helps to prepare students for success in today's thoroughly networked and hyperconnected digital-age workplace.
