  • TOPIC 8: Collecting Primary Data through Observation & Interviews

    By the end of this topic, you will be able to:

     CLO 1: Explain the observation is used to collect data about people’s behaviour or actions and it does not involve asking question or communicating with others.

     CLO 2: Explain the data gathered in the inductive approach are descriptive in nature and a narrative account is evolved which eventually leads to the development of a theory (the central theme/phenomenon).

    CLO 3: Justify the usefulness of interviews is to fill the gaps of missing data or to obtain further or deeper information about the behaviour of participants.
